My Last Line /Notes of Appreciation

Al-hamdulillahi Rabbil 'Alamin for all that it was, that it is and that is yet to come.

I give all thanks, glorifications and adorations to Almighty Allah as 1 drop my pen and take an official bow from 35years active service of unblemished record from the Lagos State Public Service.

It has been Allah all along for His guidance to deliver with integrity, passion, compassion and life touching for both the young and the old. It has been an experience full of ups and downs. I have served with resilience, passion, compassion, integrity several times sacrificing my comfort for that of others with the sole aim of leaving a lasting legacy on those who come in contact with me.

It has never been rosy all through, however, the ability to wither whatever storm has been through Allah, the only source of knowledge, wisdom, resilience and success. Al-hamdulillahi for the umpteenth time.

Whoever is ungrateful to man, shall never be grateful to Allah. My grandparents of blessed memory and my parents ensured that they put me in the right pedestal of education, both spiritual and mundane, I express my sincere appreciation to them as I pray Allah reward them bountifully, and the appreciation is extended to the other members of my family.

Over the years my teachers from my Crèche to my Ph.D years, I give kudos to you. Your labour of love shall never be in vain.

My sincere appreciation goes to the amiable Governor of the Centre of Excellence (the only working Governor in the whole of the federation and a prominent man of service to humanity) - Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu for counting me worthy of my aspiration in getting to the peak of my career. He and his twin brother (Engineer Kadir Obalemi Hamzat) in the service to humanity are indeed worthy of my thanks. I pray for more success for the administration and that the shinning glory of Lagos State shall never dwindle during your tenure and beyond.

Our Heads of Service whom I worked with Mr. Hakeem Muri Okunola (HMO) and the present welfare personified Bart, Shuaheeb Olabode Agoro, I appreciate the opportunity given to me to have served under your guidance, This has served as a great source of learning point for me; you are both sources of inspiration and delivery of service to the public, I say thank you Sirs.

To my brothers and sisters in the most vibrant body of Permanent Secretaries in the whole of the federation, I salute you; you made this journey safe and secured through idea sharing, support and co-operation through thick and thin. Ajose wa koni baje even outside our service years, I pray you all land safe, secured and strong as well.

To my education family the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education under the Leadership of Baba of Million Children and still counting, Mr. Jamiu Tolani All-Balogun; the Chairmen and Board members of TESCOM and LASUBEB, the dynamic able and capable colleagues, Tutors General/Permanent Secretaries, my Education District 4 and 6 families, President and members of ANCOPSS, Chairmen and members of the NUT and NASU. I affirm that you remain a greater part of my success stories and your support shall remain ever green in my memory.

My amiable and wonderful husband and lovely children deserves all the kudos and accolades for their understanding, unwavering support and sincere believe in me especially during my challenging times in this journey. They were ever there for me and never made me regret my passion for progression. Ebi wa oni baje lailai.

To my spiritual families in MSS, MUTAN, The Companion, the CRITERION, FOMWAN, NATAIS, Concerned Muslim Forum, Muslim Community of Lagos State and all other members of the Muslim Community, I appreciate you with the prayers, Ilal-ammam Insha'Allah, we 'inna Jundana Lahumul-Ghailbuna, Waratah naihu ma kina 'allyyah.

To my beloved friends bath now and those af my youths (AHOSITES); and weil-wishers from far and wide I say thank for standing by me through thick and thin. 1 pray Almighty Allah to ever be there for you in your times of need.
